Sleepovers at Zoomies
At Zoomies, one of our overarching goals is comfort. This means that we offer a few sleepover options to make each night as restful as possible for our guests.
Depending on what makes your dog feel the most comfortable, we will adjust as needed. Let us know how your pup typically sleeps (on the bed? crate? couch in the living room?) and we'll help them find the right spot.
We only host a few dogs at a time, which means that the group is typically more relaxed and able to get a good nights sleep. All pups are monitored overnight and no dog has access to another dog during sleepovers unless they are from the same home.
Primarily offered only to regular day camp dogs (friends!)
Both open and den-like sleeping arrangements available
White noise and soft night lighting help calm the room
Fewer dogs encourages a healthy, quiet rest
The two items you must bring to a sleepover are enough food for the whole stay and any medication your dog needs.
At the moment, due to COVID-19 we are asking that all other personal items stay at home.
Each sleepover booking is good for 24 hours after drop-off.
On the last day of a sleepover stay, if dogs aren't picked up by their "24-hour drop time",
they can stay at a rate of $4/hour until pick-up later that day (until 6pm).
Dogs must weigh no more than 40 pounds. We love our big dogs, but this weight limit helps ensure the safety and comfort of our attendees and staff in the space we play and rest.
Since dogs are more comfortable and well-behaved when they are familiar with other dogs, we request all day camp dogs attend a minimum of once a week.
PICK UP & DROP OFF
To minimize commotion, we limit our pick up and drop off hours. Dogs can arrive between 8am-10am and can be picked up between 4pm-6pm.
Every visit must be reserved online beforehand so we can adjust play groups and staff needs as necessary. Even if it's the morning of, please put it on our calendar first. :)
All dogs must be current on their rabies, bordatella (kennel cough), and DHPP vaccines. Vaccination records are required before a temperament test can be performed.
Every dog that attends Zoomies starts off with a free full-day temperament evaluation. We want to make sure all dogs, including our new friends, are comfortable and enjoy each other.
Payment is due by time of drop-off for both day camp and sleepover visits. A 50% deposit may be required to reserve sleepovers depending on season and availability.
We kindly ask for 48 hour notice for sleepover cancellations. Please make any Day Camp cancellations by 6pm the night before. Late cancellations may incur fees if made too often.
